I haven't really said anything in the past about local paranormal teams I've seen on the news. But last night was really the last straw.

One of our former investigators is on the team that was on a local channel here in the upstate. Now let me say, this was a good investigator. He left the team for personal reasons, not because we dismissed him, etc.. But the team had the nerve to say they were the ONLY reputable team in SC????!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, #1, this makes them look bad for not recognizing that there are other teams out there that are good at what we do. #2, To us, it looks like they haven't done any research to see if there are other teams in the area. and #3, it's just plain rude.

Honestly, it is rude to me personally as a founder of this team. But it really angers me that they can get on television and tell possible clients they are the ONLY choice. Clients need to know they can research and find the team that best suits what they need. The team last night was more worried about finding evidence than they were about helping the client. The clients are always #1, ALWAYS!!

We've even sent cases to other teams in the state because we couldn't schedule it for the time the client needed it, or were unable to get a team out to the area of the investigation. We've had teams stem off us.. Carolina Paranormal (CAPRI) is a great team.. and I wouldn't hesitate sending them a client. Some of their team trained on our team before they split and they knew what they are doing. A couple other teams went off.. One didn't make it, another split and split again. I give credit where credit is due though. There are other teams out there as good as, maybe some better than we are. But there are a lot of teams that I wouldn't trust in my barn.. In fact most of them I wouldn't. And getting on TV is not gonna make me change my mind...

So please, to all other groups. Please give credit where credit is due...

To all future clients of a paranormal team.. RESEARCH! Ask for references, and check up on them! Call the client references and ask how their investigation went, were they satisfied with the team, with the findings.. Don't just pick a team because you saw them on TV or in the Newspaper. :)

Just my 2 cents..

Do paranoid schizophrenic agnostic dyslexic insomniacs lie awake at night wondering if they might be the dog that's out to get them??

I did not see any interview, but have a feeling I know this team. Shelley...I agree! It's things like these that irritate me to no end. Teams like these remind me of packs of dogs. Everything is "their" territory, nobody can do things better or equal to, and they all have pompus ego's. They are really not interested in helping PEOPLE...just making a name for themselves. It's really sad....

With an attitude like that, that team won't last long. Let's see if they're still around a year from now.

Way to go Shell! Well said! It is so true that so many people out there do not give credit (like you said) where credit is due. You see so many teams out there form, stick around for a while and fumble. I am so glad to be a part of a team where we have such a great leader!!! Thanks!!
