We began the evening by having AJ do base EMF readings throughout the entire home.  EMF readings were very high for the home, especially in the kitchen, living room & dining room areas.  The fuse box reading fell within normal range, but other readings throughout the home spiked all 3 of our EMF detectors to 100.0+.  We feel this high reading may be attributed to a ground wire, running from the basement storage area, that is attached to the main water pipe for the home.  Temperature readings were normal.

Investigation

As well as filming using the camcorder & security cam, we took temperature, EMF readings and still digital photographs in all areas of the home.   We also did a continuous recording in the back front room of the home with the DS30.  And each investigation team carried a recorder and did EVP work while investigating.

 

EMF readings continued to spike throughout the upstairs "living" area of the home.  Shelley was able to follow a spike from the middle of the living room to the middle of the kitchen area, but upon going back to try to retrace it, the anomaly had moved and could be traced on a different route toward a sunroom on the back of the home.  It is still unclear if these readings were possibly due to the water line ground.

Not much activity was noted on the bottom floor (finished basement) of the home.  At one point AJ did feel a cold spot, and when a photo was taken, there was a large orb in the photo next to him.  The cold spot could not be reproduced, and he was unable to find it again.

While Joey & Jean investigated upstairs, they saw a shadow in the doorway of the master bedroom at least 3 separate times.  Jean said it appeared that the shadow was curious as to why they were there, but never came into full view for either investigator.  Jean also tried to communicate with the shadow, or any other anomaly in the home that wished to speak to her, but never received a response.

One very peculiar thing about the investigation was the fact that we had so many orbs show up on our wireless cam.  Normally we don't put much stock into orbs, noting that they are just energy, and have no real significance, but these orbs seemed intelligent.  Everyone on the team, as well as the homeowner, was able to witness the orbs actually follow team members throughout the upstairs area.  The orbs would actually follow members up the hallway and make very sharp turns to go into rooms, etc.  Alex and Tony witnesses 3-4 orbs actually seem to play up the hallway, noting that they jutted and intertwined with each other before turning into separate rooms.  This is actually our 1st instance of seeing activity like this.

Toward the end of the investigation, we had the homeowner go to bed, because most of the activity would happen when he was asleep.  We didn't witness anything for the 1st 20 minutes, and then we heard a clack sound (see clack.wav) and then heard the footsteps on the stairs (see stairs.wav).  All team members were in the dining room at the time these noises happened.  About 5 minutes later, we woke the homeowner up (who had actually been able to fall asleep) and packed up for the night. 

 

After we were all outside, and the homeowner had pulled out of the drive, 3 team members witnessed the baby gate inside the home slamming, and 2 members heard a little girl laughing coming from inside the right front of the home.
