Brief History
Clients complained about moving clothes, whispering, whistling, and a young child in the home talking to someone who isn't there.
There was a recent (1 month and 1 day before investigation) death in the family. Male figure. Clients believe that the 6 year old may be talking to the deceased.
Clients are not scared of occurrences. They would just like proof that perhaps it is the deceased causing the noises...
Walk Around
We walked around to get used to placement of furniture, see where to set up equipment and get base readings. Amanda took base readings with the EMF meter. Base readings were pretty much flat for the entire walk around. Joey took base temperature readings for the home. 69 degrees F, was the average base.
The A/C unit (very strong) was turned off, as well as a ceiling fan in the living room, the fish tank, etc. We waited for everything to settle (20 minutes) before starting our investigation.
Investigation
As well as filming using the camcorder, we took temperature and EMF readings and still digital photographs in all areas of the home. There were no unusual EMF readings throughout the investigation. But we had a strange temperature occurrence in the children's bedroom. The temperature in one spot in between the bed and crib was 61 degrees. It seemed to be a round spot. In checking further, we tested the A/C vent (which was turned off) and the vent temperature was 63 degrees. So we found that 61 degree spot unusual. We thought perhaps that would be there area that the A/C ducts might be located, but they came in through the back of the home. Sewer and water lines were also in the back of the home. No possible cause was noted.
Amanda had a personal experience in the dining room, where it felt to her, like something touched her. It didn't last long, and no equipment correlated her feeling.
A very low whisper could be heard throughout the entire night in the back entry way, where the washer and dryer are also located. At some points, it almost sounded like singing. This whispering was also picked up on our recorder which was left in that area, but the whispering could not be pulled out enough to understand anything being said, so we couldn't classify any of it as EVPs.
Shelley heard a knock in an unused bedroom/storage room twice. Upon investigation, nothing was found in the room. No one was on that side of the home at the time. Nothing came of it.
There were no other experiences.
Shelley sat down with client and had an EVP session for 30 minutes. There was no one else present in the home at the time. Client was recorded as well as video taped. There were orbs present during the taping, mainly around client, some were even visible by eye. Session was ended abruptly by homeowners returning. The EVP session was extremely personal for client and no other details will be released.
Analysis
EVPs - None. Whispering noted on 1 1/2 hours of recording, all the way throughout, but none that were Class A EVP worthy.
Video - We had a lot of orb activity.
Photos - Nothing unusual was found in any of the photos.
Poltergeist activity caused by trauma of child losing her family member suddenly. Probably fueled by other family members also having trouble "letting go". Child most definitely has extraordinary energy.
Activity has slowed since our investigation.
